Kitty McGilly M.R.E., L.H.S.

Kitty McGilly of Faith Journeys has been involved in pilgrimage to the Holy Land since 1991.  She has a master’s degree in religious education, specializing in scripture.  She has a long background in adult faith formation with Toronto Catholic and Dufferin Peel school boards and has been a guest speaker and retreat facilitator in school boards and parishes throughout the province.  She accompanies and facilitates each of the faith journey programs in the Holy Land, and over two thousand pilgrims have been enriched by this journey to the Land of Our Redemption.

Kitty is a Lady of the Holy Sepulchre and was highly involved in the Toronto Diocesan pilgrimage to Quebec for the Eucharistic Congress in 2008.  Kitty participated in the Papal visit to the Holy Land in 2009 and has recently received a unique award, The Bronze Palm of Jerusalem, from the Vatican.  This is to acknowledge her service to the Church in Canada and the Holy Land.
